A terrible Gen X Eddie & The Cruisers

Toni Colette and Thomas Haden Church do the best they can with crap material. Slice of life, aging Gen X, wacky characters, bit of pathos dramedy. Another bland, mediocre, dull fake indie with a movie star cast (I won't give away the cameo). Don't bother.

Pretty much. It was trying to be indie & cute but never actually pulled it off. The acting was fine, few complaints there. The characters & writing however were bland and boring. Seconds after it ends youve already forgotten about it, assuming you can even make it to the ending...
