If Oscars are given for performance, Brian White should be in the running for Supporting Actor. He really did well in this role as Walter Deeds. Wow!

Someone tell the Academy.

Brian almost always plays a jerk in his films, but he does a great job.

Both he and Phylicia Rashad are both excellent in this film. The fight scene in the elevator was one of the most intense, emotional scenes I've ever seen in a movie.

Angry Black Man is the character he pretty much always plays.

Everyone was good in this movie. I'm not real familiar with Thandie Newton....but she was really good as the lead actress in this movie. I just watched it and it was as good movie.
