The disrespect towards black women.

SPOILERS.

Walter (a black man) clearly dislikes black women, fine, he has the free will to think that way, but he then concerns himself with them with the stereotypical mindset that a black woman would only respond if you cuss her out - this is shown in the scene in the parking garage when Walter calls Lindsay (played by Thandie Newton) a bitch. Walter was clearly a drunk and his character shouldn't be taken seriously, he had an unhealthy relationship with his mother (played by Phylicia Rashad) to the point that she used his brother Wesley (played by Tyler Perry) against him - it is shown in the scene in the restaurant when she says to him "Why can't you be more like your brother?!", it is highly possible that Walter is anti-black women because of how his mother has been towards him, the thing is when you have that mindset of writing everyone off (in this case - black women) just because of one person, you then miss out on great people all because you have a problem with their skin colour. Walter was basically racist (racist against black women that is).

Walter also involved a child into his wrong mindset when he mentioned that "the little black girl has an attitude and will eventually turn into a grown black women and will still have an attitude problem" this character Walter is clearly racist against every black female no matter the age. This movie doesn't make much of a big deal out of it, but i personally think they should have tackled that issue more.
