A fantastic show bites the dust...

...What the H???

Comedy Central REALLY needs to reconsider. At least give it a chance to run during football season and see how it does then. I had hoped that eventually it would achieve popularity enough to maybe become a 3rd part of the Daily Show/Colbert Report team-up block so that we could get news, politics and sports all in one 90 minute shot. Looks like that dream has died...

This one felt like a winner. I agree that it should have been given a chance at football season. I guess 5 hours of Tosh.O and Chappelle reruns make for better television?

reply

Totally. I wish ComedyCentral would stop showing Scrubs already and give us more shows like SSwNM.

This is preosterous. They have so much *beep* on that network and this was legitimately funny.

I feel worst for norm. Once hailed as the funniest guy alive by other comedians, he has guy has not had many good breaks in his career....

This show was hilarious....I can only imagine the look on sad bill cosbys face right now : (

What a joke.

I guess Comedy Central needs more air time for Tosh.O re-runs & unfunny crap like Workaholics.

I had a feeling from the start that this show wouldn't make it b/c of how CC hardly ever pushed it. Other shows they re-run 10 times a week, but Sports Show would run a couple times on Tuesday and that's it. They didn't give it much of a chance.

Oh well, good luck to Norm. Hopefully he's still out there doing something hilarious. I do feel really bad for him though, he's one of those comics that actually deserve a break unlike so many that are handed success without having to work for it.

I didn't even know it was cancelled. I just figured it was between seasons until I heard Daniel Tosh say "We'll be right back with more Sports Show With Norm MacDonald".

I can't believe they cancelled this already, especially when they have let some seriously bad and unfunny TV shows (Mind Of Mencia for example)run for long periods of time. Everybody I know watches this show and thinks it is hilarious, and they cancel it before it even has a chance to get going?

This truly funny show was cancelled, while the mindless stupidity that is Workaholics just got renewed for a second season. Only on Comedy Central. But I expect nothing less from the network that thought giving Jeff Dunham his own show was a good idea.

I thought it was really funny but there were a lot of problems with the show.

I could not stand the segment with his nephew. That was something I just skipped through every time they brought him back.

The LA Laker look a like, and when he switched places with the LA Clipper was just painful. When he was doing jokes it was good, but when he tried to do segments to break it up I just skipped through the segments.
