Fake???

This "documentary" allegedly chronicles the biography and origins of the Kings of Leon. However, like most documentaries, this film is either a fictional account of the rise of the band or a greatly exaggerated version of their story.

Mind you there's nothing wrong with this, but when watching the documentary, the individual stories of being raised in the Bible-belt seem overly comedic and forced. The film also glazes over how the band gained commercial success. The main focus seemed to be on the absurdity of the Pentecostal Church and the hypocrisy of Christian radicalism.

Overall, Talihina Sky is more of a parody than a true biography. Fake, but nonetheless entertaining.
