BId prices

anyone know what they mean now?

Someone explained how the bids work but that post got deleted twice. I guess the show producers don't want that info out there... but basically the bids are kind of like scores. The stores get a set amount of points they can distribute each show. The actual bids have absolutely no relation to real money at all. Let's see if this comment gets deleted. lol

Oh that makes sense, but I actually stopped watching the show after they got rid of the one attractive guy.
I also think the "fashion icons" are a joke. Just tired washed out "celebrities."
thanks for the info

They imply that the bid prices are that they are buying so many thousands of dollars worth of that item to sell in their store. But Caprice from Macy's was asked if there was a budget and she seemed to giggle and was amused to reply no budget.
I guess they would get paid by the show and their purchases can be bigger because of the advertising. She did say this year the bids were bigger because stuff last season sold out so quickly. Caprice was also said she was not clear as the whether there was a limit last year.
