OMG I thought I was the only one that was bothered by this. This and the SUPER loud typing at the begining of the movie. I had to mute the chewing and gulping. It grossed me out.

I had a friend who absolutely could not stomach this type of thing, especially in commercials where it really can be bad.
We had ordered pizza one night & before it was delivered, a TV ad for pizza came on with close-up food-to-mouth chewing imagery (with some pizza hanging out of the guy's mouth no less) and slurping/swallowing type sounds.
She couldn't even eat her pizza that night after that, she was so grossed out.
Way to promote the product (not!)
