Luis' A Bit Schitzo!

He asked for a partnership with a guy and bails before the 1st deal is completed! Something's really wrong with this guy! The other 2 are about as bent, but at least they're at the top of their game! They're all very obsessive; how do they have a real life outside of work? Frederick is going to be divorced before you know it! ;-/

Looks like he's gone! Getting out of the real estate business altogether! Luis might be moving back to Puerto Rico! ;-/

I thought Luis would tell his assistant that he wanted her, not his career.

He already sold his soul several times over! What is he trying to save now? He was successful for the most part, but at what cost? I could never do that kind of work; no matter the money! I couldn't put up with the attitude on both sides! One side is trying to steal it by way "under-offering," then the other side where the seller will try to squeeze the last dime out of a buyer! One can be ready to drop a $10 M deal trying to demand an extra $50-100 thousand! It's obscene! ;-/

So he's become a fishmonger?

reply

I thought that too, especially since the season is ending. But on second thought, he's too self-centered, narcissistic for that. More likely is that he's thinking of starting a new career as an actor. Place your bets!

Sold his "sole" - as in shoes?

I really wonder if Luis is deep in the closet, and that struggle is at the root of his problem. I never thought he was gay, but a lot of his symptoms fit what closeted people go through. His heritage, background, focusing on work at the detriment of his social and personal life, and depression make me think this.

I've been thinking the same thing. I think coming from where he does can make it extremely difficult not only to come out to your friends and family, but even more difficult to come out to yourself. I have no idea if he's gay or not, closeted or not, but I wouldn't be even a tiny bit surprised to find out he is.

Luis' assistant Ronnie made an interesting commend about depression running in his family, and Luis' highs and low. I think that he is probably bipolar, which is explains his past behaviour and hyper personality, and this season's crying. But he won't medicate because a: he needs that 'high' to stay on top of his game at work, b: he's seen the affect of medication on the family members (but these days the treatment is more affective) c: he has no family around to help him seek treatment.

I did the same thing; moved away from family and friends to spend 10+ years out in Calif.! I was alone, but I didn't lose it like Luis; thank goodness! ;-/

I am no expert but he does seem to have manic depressive tendencies - erratic life patterns, extreme highs and lows of energy and emotion.

Luis is also an opportunist. I don't how Bravo found him for this show. My guess is they were looking for diversity, and someone knew someone who knew Luis was a low level real estate agent and recommended him for the show. I think Luis crafted this tv persona of ambitious realtor just for the show. His background is more in tv/film/entertainment as a skateboarder and film crew assistant. I bet he's cashing in on his 15 minutes of fame to get back to his real goal - to be even more famous.

the guy seemed so genuine. i think he got tired of the pressures of real estate and got addicted to camera time. fame and money change people so i am disappointed to hear his new adventure has to do with television. choosing fame over a career is rather gross to me.
