SO... Ryan has watched Frederik's porn tapes

One thing had become abundantly clear watching the reunion... Ryan has watched every scene Frederik shot 13 years ago. I didn't really get it at the party, when he was just going to show the "cartoon," but I am certain, almost as certain as the sky is blue and the grass is green, that not only has Ryan seen Fred's scene, he saw every scene he shot, and "researched" it thoroughly. Ryan is the type of guy that would out you in high school for doing porn, by watching your porn, and then condemn you for making it, but then ultimately people realize, how do you know they are shooting porn, if you're not watching the porn??

Cough cough... all this (for legal reasons) is ""alleged.""

Ryan shows that he's a dirty, underhanded son of a biyatch. He knows he can't beat Fredrik in selling so he played dirty and tried to humiliate Fredrik. That's a juvenile move and has nothing to do with "know your enemy".

I found that episode to be extremely weird. It was as if Ryan was obsessed with Frederik's porn past. I was relieved when he didn't air it as it would have been a really sleazy, low move, even for Ryan. I would have seriously had to re-evaluate my crush on him if he went through with his original plan and showed it.

You hit at a person's vulnerability! Fredrik screwed Ryan over without the benefits and he lashed out! That was pretty scummy of Fred so he had "something" coming! ;-/

So true. But showing that porn would have been low. Like someone else said, in an earlier episode Ryan 'invaded' a lunch date of Frederik and a client and just blurted out to the client how Frederik did porn. Maybe this screw over by Frederik was pay back for that scummy move on Ryan's part. But Ryan didn't even consider his part in all this before considering getting even.
But if neither of them lets it go, then this getting even will be a never-ending cycle with those two.

IDK why people keep saying "if" when he didn't? Fredrik was lucky Ryan had more class than him and didn't expose him to untold ridicule and embarrassment! ;-/

Is that what they're saying? Ryan didn't go through with his plans and I was happy he didn't. In my view, going thru with his original plan would have hurt him too in the long run. Just imagine how his peers would have viewed him "if" he had pulled that stunt? So in the end Ryan was the bigger man, and I loved him even more for it.

How was that clear? Abundantly or otherwise? And what difference does it make, whether true or not?
