I don't get how you can *inherit* something like a house if the owner is still living?? Very strange ep.
shareVery true, sonomagirl, it makes my antennae come up like Uncle Martin's on My Favorite Martian! It could be she signed over the house to qualify for or increase a pension/Social Security/Medicare; it could also just be that she's realistic enough to know she'll never be able to take care of the home again, and let's get it occupied before time and weather and lack of day-to-day upkeep just destroy it.
