Jillian and Grant

This should be interesting. They announced they're getting divorced in March. This was probably filmed 6-9 months ago and showing now in July. I'm sure we'll be able to see the wheels turning and the thoughts of divorce creeping in.

Oh... one minute in and yes, I can see why the divorce is on the horizon.

He's hot. He'll get snapped up in a heartbeat if not already.

Oh - and she's saying she quit LA Today. She was fired. She and another lady were let go with the new management. No need to lie.

Yes Thinker, me thinks she did Grant a big favor by filing for divorce. She is a tasteless, narcissistic, nasty biotch liar.

I need to find a new boyfriend, Mike just isn't any fun since he quit drinking.

reply

I imagine he might think being in a dangerous, war torn country might be better than being around her. Yikes. Awful to say. But it's possible. She's way too high-maintenance.

reply

I could tell when she was talking about it that she was most likely fired.
It was a classic BS story.

She's always annoyed me.
& when the hell did she have 5 shows on tv?
I just remember her from the Fox she she just "quit" & some radio work. Oh & Howard Stern.

It's sad that they're splitting up. Their poor kids...

reply

Wow...Jeff got her to admit she was fired! I really used to like Jill but over the years she became so self centered and obnoxious. Seeing this episode sealed it for me. I felt sorry for Grant. No surprise they are divorcing.

Am I the only one who liked her interior before the makeover?

Anyways I felt bad for her husband. But that's what happens when some marry later in life like Jillian. She was set in her ways and use to being single that she never adjusted to marry life. Now she's single again except this time she has to kids to handle. Unless she pawned them off to him, so she can be fully free again.

You don't know me from Adam's Housecat!

But Jill had been married before...Grant's her 2nd husband. I truly think she liked being the one in charge/control and when things changed she couldn't handle it. I'm from SoCal and remember when she went in air and announced she got married. She was happy and seemed so in love. But that's when she was the bread winner. Grant's always come off as a laid back, not wanting spot light type of guy. Hope he finds someone who appreciates him. I've read and heard many stories of Jill in her single days so I'm sure she's moved on.

reply

I actually hate Jeff's paint/finishes.
Those colors look awful in that house.
Room looked darker than before.

reply

Wow, best episode yet. Jillian is a huge narsicist monster! What a tough person to cave to and live with day in and day out. It doesn't help that Grant is such a lovely, sexy beast. Yeah, I'm biased because I would snap Grant up in a second but still Jillian comes off as such a shrew. It's so weird to know they got divorced after this. Grant, call me...

reply

Yeah, after watching this episode, I am not AT ALL surprised the marriage is ending. What DOES surprise me, however, is that she was the one to file for divorce and not Grant. I have never been a big fan of Jillian's, but watching this episode I found her extra insufferable. Can't believe he even lasted six years with her.

Couldn't you do something less drastic than sleeping with her? Couldn't you just kill her?

reply

Well she was out of the house most of the time and Grant Reynolds was probably partying out back with his hookers snorting cocaine.

reply

Yeah. That guy is really attractive at least in this episode.
Shame there aren't any shirtless pics around.

reply

I wonder if there are any cheesecake shots on the reality show he was on, Househusbands of Hollywood. I kinda remember it but not much. It's on Amazon if you'd like to check it out.

Was that episode an audition tape for Jillian to get cast in one of the Real Housewives shows on Bravo? To me it sure felt like one. Given all the legal and financial trouble some of the Housewives are in there may be a vacant spot for her in the near future.

I don't understand the purpose of why Jeff was there in the first place. For six years Grant stayed at home to raise the kids and supposedly hated the decor and now Jillian (who decorated the space in the first place) takes care of the kids while Grant is away for several months and yet they felt the need to accomodate Grant's design aesthetics NOW when he's no longer there to enjoy it full time?
