So are all skeptics Anti-Christian or just some of them?

Thats all I got from this movie. that we would be better off in a God-less universe even if there was a God in it to begin with. and then the skeptics f--lishly wonder "why" true believers have a "bad blood" against them. Some People are -diots.

As a Christian I didn't get that at all. I found the movie pretty funny, but the only thing I took from the "be better off in a God-less universe" ending you mentioned is that they just didn't know how to end it. The movie was good up until the end, and with the exception of the anti-Christ, I could picture people actually thinking and doing what the two main characters did during it, but the ending was very lackluster: as if the creators were trying to end on a funny note and thought that was the best way.

Although how exactly could you end it? You couldn't have the whole book of Revelations in 90 mins.

who it have been so hard to introduce "the millennium" right afterwards? just asking.

Would it have mattered? The way it played out no one got saved during the tribulation anyway so they would have all gone to hell. Not exactly a happy ending for the characters we were supposed to be rooting for.

For me this is just another in a long line of pro-Christian films. Why pro? Yeah, they're using a different tactic, but it has all the imagery and characteristics of Christianity, so it's a clever way of instilling belief in religion, whether the viewer knows it or not. :)

I don't know about all skeptics, but this skeptic is anti Christian as well as anti all other organized religions. I loved the fact that God, Christ, and the anti-Christ all die because they're all dicks both in the movie and in Christian mythology. Just read the bible about how God treats Job or pretty much anybody else. Especially in the old testament or the Koran, or the Book of Mormon, etc. People say all those holy books are about love but it's clear that's about the opposite of what they're about.

I found it refreshing that the movie ends with everyone left on Earth rejecting all those guys and deciding to figure out how to live together. Who wants to live under the rule of a jealous, vengeful god? We can do better than that.

I don't recall Jesus being described as a dick, except when he says he doesn't have a mother.

The last part of your post where you ask a question and then answer it makes no sense.

@darktone, "...that we would be better off in a God-less universe even if there was a God in it to begin with..."

Thanks! I was dubious about whether the movie'd be worth my time. It's your comment that pushed me over the line, and I ended up rating it 7/10!

And no, while I am a skeptic I'm not especially anti-Christian. I could just tell you and I have very different tastes in movies. I generally like lowbrow art that explores high concepts. It introduces a delightful hint of surrealism to an otherwise shallow sea of dick-jokes. :)

You are an *diot.
What about all these retarded christian movies telling people (shoving it down their throat) that jebus was real and his imaginary friend and all that crap some insane people wrote in a book?
And then they wonder why non believers have "bad blood" against them. Some people are *diots.

Wow. I thought I was angry and bitter. God must have f##ed you over hard.
