Why wont they make serious well done Zombie movies anymore??? movies like DAwn of the Dead remake .....So upset, I havent seen a decent zombie flick since dawn of the dead...

shareThe closest you are going to get to the Dawn films is of course "The Walking dead".It was those stupid "living dead" films of the 80s that opened up a new genre, one that merged horror and comedy. I cant count how many times through the years when George Romero came up in conversation, only to have some clueless schmuck erroneously link and quote that dreadful "RETURN of the LIVING DEAD" film and say "send more brains"! In my opinion, its sacrilegious and George Romero as well as his films and ideas should be hands off. The progression within the genre is what killed it. Ive seen directors deliberately break every rule that was established by Romero, so as to give their dreck some originality. In the Day of the Dead remake the dead were running on the ceilings and climbing the walls. As if Nick Cannons performance wasn't nauseating enough. How about Day of the Dead Contaguim? If your unfamiliar trust me,you don't want to go there.

Why not just stick to the rules. Cant these producers and directors see the popularity of well done zombie flicks and shows.. Look at walking dead it exploded, even people that were never into zombie movies are watching the walking dead.. Zombies dont have supernatural powers, or possessed by the devil.. GOD dont people get it..?? They can run, or walk.. I dont mind either. I must admit, I do prefer them walking..If we are gonna progress with the zombie evolution. I think zombies, in the advance stages of decomposition should WALK.. and recently dead should be able to run. Another great Idea, is to focus on the end of the world, like the movie THE road.. with Viggo Morrison. Show how the world has been destroyed, and how desperate people have become. Show cites all destroyed and vandalized.. wow that would be so great.. Sort of like a I AM LEGEND type world.. If i had the money I would make the best Zombie Flicks.. :) hahahaha

this movie was a joke, ive got a question what happened to the Christi at the end? Junior gave her a drink and closed the door, then the credits started rolling. I give it 3/10

shareI gave it a 1/10 as well... would have given it a negative number if they were available.. I am not a zombie fanatic, but have watched a few of them, this was the most BORING zombie movie I have ever heard of!!!!
