Fell apart at the end

I really thought this movie was interesting, but then like every other Lifetime movie, the events leading to the end were terrible.

If the police are concerned for Emily's safety, they're not going to send a car to her friend's house but let her go back to her own home alone.

You already know the last victim was drugged and that someone in your company is after you. Do you not find it suspicious at all that, as you're running from one guy, the other guy just happens to have a bottle of water for you? Then, when he says you're going to the police, who are right out front, you find nothing wrong with heading to the parking garage instead? She should have run straight to the police herself when she got away from the first guy, or at least called them from inside.

If you accidentally discovered that the guy you're trying to sell your program to has been recording your partner from all over her home, are you really going to act like you never saw the video feed and keep doing business as usual so you can get paid instead of turning him in?

Only the boyfriend had a key to the house. How exactly did the other guy get a key?

When saw that guy go over to the table full of water bottles, I said to myself, "He is going to offer her a bottle of water" Then he hands it to her and says, "Drink this" And she did!!!! how dumb was she!
