Where are They? Why is Nick Taking Sooooooooooooooooo Long To Air Them? It's Been over a Year Since Season 4 Started They cant air the last 4 episodes like in a movie or a marathon like they did today with last 3 episodes. I Remember back in 1989 They air like 40's some episodes in one mouth and I was 1 year old then. This Why The 87 Turtles are the best in my opinion lots of episodes and no wait that's how you do a show. So anybody knows why the Wait Does it something to do with the CGI and the Voice actors and the writers?

The episodes have been ready to air for a while now; there were even season 5 sketches as early as Jan 2016.

It's Nickelodeon. For whatever reason, they want to drag season 4 out. Maybe to make season 5's 20 episodes in a single calendar year with few breaks.

Every season before this has been 26 episodes over around a 52 week period. This one is already over 52 weeks with 4 episodes still unscheduled. Pretty annoying.

I would've preferred delaying season 4 then having fewer breaks during the season.

Yeah I agree. I have to constantly check Wikipedia's episode guide for when new episodes will air. I follow the TMNT Master account (which is the official Nick account for the show) and they hardly ever post when new episodes are going to air.

I speculated in another thread we may be halfway through 2018 or even into 2019 before S5 finally finishes airing at the rate Nick goes. It's absolutely maddening.

Different networks, but it's kinda like adenture time season 7. That had 39 episodes dragged out over 54 weeks. And a couple of those aired the same week, so there were verrrry long breaks sometimes.

But that show's ending in 2018 with two more full seasons, so it looks like they're speeding things up.

I just wonder how long it'll take them to defeat Super Shredder. I hope they finally defeat Shredder in the Season 4 finale. But if he doesn't die until the end of season 5, I guess it would make sense for Shredder to die in the series finale.

I deleted my twitter account but apparently the final 4 episodes of season 4 start airing this weekend per the official TMNT account. Took them forever to make that announcement.
