Better than Apocalypse?

Any thoughts?

Definitely

reply

Okay. Thanks.

Not by my standards; Apocalypse was a much more interesting and believable story.

reply

Apocalypse is outright disapointing compared to this.

reply

How so? Apocalypse barely even had a story.

I love Apocalypse. It's great fun. It's the X-Men equivalent of The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Apocalypse blows that crap out of the water. BUT as one YouTuber said, you can't beat perfection [X-Men: Days of Future Past].

Age of Ultron was completely tedious, so thanks for the heads up what to expect from Apocalypse.

'Well I've got two words for you - STFU'

Critics loved the tedious crap, Ultron far more than Apocalypse and I can't help but feel like they are dead wrong. I can't help but feel like Apocalypse is criminally underrated at this point. It has a lower RT rating than The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for crying out loud. Anyone who has seen that crap and seen Apocalypse know the difference.

I liked it better than Apocalypse.

reply

Yes and it's not even close. Apocalypse was pretty average and forgettable.

Days of Future Past is the best X-Men movie so far and waaaaaaay better than Apocalypse.

reply

Yes, it's better.

Call me crazy, but I think that Days of Future Past was perfect just because Matthew Vaughn was behind the story. In Apocalypse he was changed for Singer in the script and you know the final product. As someone above me already said, it doesn't have a story.

Vaughn is the real genius here...
