will see Robert Pattinsons Batman Team Up With Henry Cavills Superman

Since Affleck won't be returning and Cavill is still enthusiastic to play role still

reply

Never gonna happen

reply

Isn't Cavill done as Superman?

reply

I got to think if Cavill gets the Bond role he will ditch Superman. And he should get the Bond role.

reply

He better get the Bond role. He's absolutely perfect.

reply

They just need to erase the Man from UNCLE movie from memory. Fortunately, it's an easy task.

reply

Basically yeah.

reply

No he isnt Done he is one of the best Incarnations next to Reeve eff him as Bond that role belongs to Idris elba

reply

Idris Elba doesn't want to be James Bond. He has said so MANY times.

reply

No it seems like they're keeping Pattinson in his separate universe. Which I disagree with but it is what it is.

reply

As far as I'm aware The Batman is a separate venture from the main DCEU.

reply

It's just a ruse. What they have now are Wonder Woman and Aquaman. They wouldn't want to risk those successful gems for this experimental Batman movie.

If it proved successul, I bet they'll make Pattinson into DCEU. Maybe via Flashpoint Paradox or something.

But if it turns out a flop, they can just keep saying it was totally meant as separate venture from the main DCEU with a straight face.

reply

The only actual difficulties with merging different Batmans with the DCEU or not is they always want to bring his rogues gallery with him. That's where all the trouble starts. Just use Batman, leave the rest at home. There's no reason to reference Gotham culture or personal history or even Alfred at all in the shared universe films. Just have Batman show up in his cowl. We don't need that much continuity. The more you spell out, the more you're boxed in. If they make more shared universe films, i'd go ahead and use Robert, allude that he's older than his solo movies, and just leave it at that.

reply

True. That's an interesting angle. Yeah one of the main reasons these crossovers were made was that we want to see what if Batman comes againts Lex Luthor, or Superman vs Joker, etc. They're fun.

But bringing all the Batman's rogue gallery, Alfred and then adding Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman along with their nemeses is not fun... it's convoluted and overly complicated.

Your're right, we just need Batman and a single villain from one of the members. Have them against Darkseid (a Superman enemy) or maybe even Joker or someone else and we'll have a good time. This was what they've done in the O.G. Avengers. They just pulled Loki straight from Thor and put him right into the Avengers movie. It worked.

reply

I still doubt it. Most of the DCEU has been a flop, but it's still canon regardless.

The Batman being seperate entirely is a sure fire way for Warner Bros to actually make some decent money since people love Batman and if it's not attached to the shit show that is the DCEU, I feel moviegoers will be more inclined to see it.

reply

I wouldn't rule out the idea, but I think "The Batman" kinda like how "Logan" was, will be it's own thing separate from the larger DCEU, but if proven successful, they'll somehow incorporate him in the main universe but I wouldn't label it as an "Elseworlds" movie.
