So who should be the new Batman?

Word is that Ben Afflect is out of the franchise, probably the best thing for him.

I've hard rumors that Jon Hamm or Armie Hammer are being considered, and IMHO Hamm is too old and Hammer is too meh. So who? Who's tall and well-built, under forty, and a decent actor who can make being yet another version of a fucked-up rich boy interesting?

Bear in mind that unlike Superman, Batman can be any race or color. It's the cape and cowl that makes an actor look like Batman, the only real physical requirement is an athletic bod, and a jawline that looks good when the rest of the face is covered. That, and an air of wealth and inherited privilege.

Jon Hamm if older.

reply

John Hamm would be a great choice!

reply

Henry Cavill.

reply

You know, I've actually heard that rumor!

Yes, someone somewhere said that Cavill is switching from the Superman role, to Batman. Ridiculous.

reply

LOL!

reply

That's exactly what I said. What a coincidence!

reply

Potential young heartthrob actor who is ideal for Bruce Wayne/Batman.

reply

Jake Gyllenhaal ❤️

reply

Michael Fassbender

reply

He can definitely play the right level of crazy, but he can't do an American accent for shit.

At least, he didn't in "Alien: Covenant".

reply

Yeah, it's hard to mask that thick Kerry accent.

reply

He would also need to bulk up some muscle mass.

reply

Jason O'Mara's a good animated Batman. Irish! ❤️

reply

Oscar Isaac or Gabriel Macht( he did Spirit )

reply

I hadn't thought of Isaac, he could be a possibility.

If they surround him with a really short supporting cast, of course, Batman has to appear to be tall.

reply

Gabriel Macht would be a perfect Bruce Wayne, not sure about Batman though.

reply

Jake Gyllenhaal.

Edit: oops, already said that. I guess I have strong feelings about this one. 😅😅😅

reply

Steve Buscemi!

reply

Agree with Buscemi.

reply

No dumber a choice than any of the other actors currently associated with the recast, post-Affleck, to be perfectly honest...

reply

Rob Schneider!
