In the spirit of...

Stand By Me, The Gate, Silver Bullit, The Goonies I would think but difference is those thrillers involving kids were actual 80's early 90's movies when the kids could look the way they do. If this movie is based in the 80's i get it but if not it is ridiculous, kids don't dress that way anymore. Obviously I didn't see this movie, I just watched the trailer, basically I prefer not to wast an hour and a half if I can avoid it.
