Wouldn't Josh's trough look suspicious from above?

It was very visible in the overhead shot taken by, I assume, a drone. The moonshiners n this show often camouflage their sites so they're harder to see by law enforcement officer who supposedly fly over these areas looking for still site. Yeah, the grist mill he's using might provide cover, but a trough leading to a mill should look suspicious. Old grist mills were usually built next to a natural or man-made waterfall to run the water wheel, so authorities should ask: 1) why an old trough would be there? and 2) Why would someone go to the trouble of building one to run a mill next to a now-dry water source?

Furthermore, if it doesn't look like an old trough anyway, why build heavy sections out of wood? Long plastic sluice pipe can easily be cut in half lengthwise and the ends fitted & fastened together.
