Scouse accent.

Rupert Grint Scouse accent is one of the best I've heard. Not an easy accent to master for a non Scouser. And I doubt he's got any connections to Liverpool with a name like Rupert! Not many Ruperts in Liverpool.

I wished that there were subtitles for him when he spoke. Had to stop and back up the disc several times to figure out what he was saying. The British pilot was completely understandable all along though.

Ha! I think Rupert would take that as a compliment. As the song goes "we speak with an accent exceedingly rare".
There has been to many examples of bad Scouse accents on screen though.
Even by actors not to far from Liverpool.

I pretty much agree with you. The funny thing is was the accent actually required, as the British pair appear to be more fictionalised (different names etc.) than the German trio. I can't see the point of playing the role with a thick accent just for the fun of it. 🐭
