I think it's hilarious how many people complain about this movie and movies made by The Asylum, yet they still watch them! Do they think they are going to get an existential experience from watching them? Just wondering.
I love the movie, very funny. Its so ridiculous but you cant help but have a smile on your face. I liked the one guy who was dressed as Bobo from Finding Bigfoot except he was slimmer, i wondered if anyone caught that.
It may be hilarious for you, but think about one thing:
every single SYFY channel film is atrociously bad - there is no single redeeming aspect to them, not the acting, not the special effects, not the storylines, nothing.
Yet, this group and its directors manage to get their hands on very much relevant amounts of money, money which talented screenwriters and directors are refused.
Viewers are served with pathetic films right out of a bad assembly line, when for much less money something interesting could be done with the right people directing and writing.
Above all, this stream of horrendously bad done TV is sad.
They keep making them because they keep making money because people keep watching them. Simple supply/demand economics.
Think about it, these movies probably cost $250,000 to produce, 5 million people watch. Advertisers know this. I'm sure they probably make 100% profit off of each movie because I doubt the actors get royalties so every cent that's made in profit go back to the producers and syfy.
I can promise you if they didn't make money they wouldn't make these movies.
