CHARLIE ZONE is a multi-award winning dramatic thriller about Avery Paul, a disgraced boxer and ex-convict, who is hired to abduct a runaway from a drug house and return her safely to her family. But nothing goes as planned and nothing is what it seems. What follows is a twisting, harrowing ride through society's underside, as two lost people attempt to face the darkness—in their world and themselves—and somehow find redemption.

The film is a gritty panoramic of Halifax as it has become—one of the most violent and troubled cities in the nation, with hidden lives clashing on its margins and in its ghettos.
