The worst part of each episode is the ending

The endings are a lame attempt at scaring the audience one last time. It's not even a surprise anymore. So cheesy.

Especially after the captions announce a happy ending..."they never saw the ghost again"

THEN EVIL FACE IN REFLECTION!!

Whatever.

Just because something or someone appears to be gone doesn't mean they are. Maybe that's why they have those scenes.

reply

I totally agree. 1,000% yes. Especially last night's episode.

"D...uhhh ASTROTURF!! You know who's responsible for that, dontcha?! The Jews!"

I think it's the beginning with the boring normalcy and slow build ups...although neccessary, it could quicken up a bit to the hauntings. It is not a movie so not too much build up neccessary.

@oobie-1 I have to disagree with you: Although, it probably makes little sense to you, some of us are watching the normal starting minutes every bit as intently as those parts which follow later on. And there is a reason why we are very interested. To at least some of us, the 'build-ups' in each episode, are very necessary and most revealing, particularly for those among us, who are perceptive to (...shall we say) certain things... In other words, a few of us like/need to watch how they're recounting the everyday stuff, and then compare such with what follows.

Anyway, I hope that makes some sense to you, even if you'd still rather they jumped straight to the hauntings, in each episode. Most of the other, vaguely related shows, i.e., those which place less emphasis on integrity, do, of course, go in for crowd rousing 'money shots' far quicker. ;-)

Sandwiched between The Principle of Mediocrity & Rare Earth Theory, you should see The Fermi Paradox

Actually, them doing that takes away from any realism that we all hope to believe. I need them to stop. Did they do that in season1?

Two overly used similarities
1) Saw a person walking in my room staring at me angrily but " Just Brushed it off " What?!
2)" I knew i desperately needed help so i immediately called my local church "

This seems to be a theme in the show where the church is on speed dial or an " i mean i don't believe in these things " athiest becomes a born again christian by the end. I mean of course a minister won't say nothings wrong your nuts as god, afterlife, demons is his/her bread and butter. It makes me laugh when the witnesses in PW and Zak Bagans and Co from Ghost Adventures use cheesy dialogue from fictional 80's horror movies when confronting these demonic "entities" Even when doing investigations abroad the spirits have American accents lol Despite being an athiest and unbeliever i do watch as i find the subject interesting even though no scientific investigation takes place in PW to help the tenant and though Zak becomes cringingly possessed in 8 of the 10 episodes resulting in me watching through my fingers with embarrassment rather than fear.

Perhaps the makers of PW could filmmsome episodes where the paranormal activity is happening now rather than memories from years, decades ago. I hope they make a Season 6.
