The Hotel May be Based on The Lemp Mansion - BUT I sense fiction...

I have always been a great admirer/defender/enthusiastic viewer of this show, from season one until now. With the exception of two previous episodes I have never called into question the reality on which the show is premised. But now, I most certainly do.

Never have I so clearly sensed the hand of third party fiction, in any previous episode of PW, as compared to this particular episode.

In other words, it is submitted (with detailed argument to follow) that "The Hotel" episode is most dubiously fictional. And while it may be based on a factual hotel, just as the introduction of the show suggests, it is also clear to this viewer that the hand of a scriptwriter is very evident. Within the next week, I will outline all the problems I've found with this episode. I wish to do this properly and don't have time today to make a properly compelling argument for the sceptic's side.

In other words, because I intend to back up this charge (that a writer's footprints are clearly evident to the perceptive viewer, throughout this Episode 11), I will, at some within the next week, explore in detail the reasons why this episode is arguably written from a scriptwriter's mind - even if some of those appearing on it, clearly worked in a hotel for at least some of their lives; and even if *some* of what is recanted in it, may be loosely related to fact; but as I wish to give a well reasoned argument, my reasoning as to why this episode is mostly fictional may take several more days to release here.

Meanwhile, I would be interested to hear from others who generally believe this show to be premised on reality, but find this particular episode to be more like an episode of my Haunted House than a typical episode of Paranormal Witness.

...Watch this space!

PS: if "The Hotel" is a harbinger of the (...ahem) 'new direction' this show will be taking from now on, then the last thing I wish to say for now, is this:

R.I.P. "Paranormal Witness" - you were once the greatest of your kind.

Few months ago I was looking for franchise/abandoned comm space etc..and I came across this rest/motel castle looking place .and it was upstate ny.if im not mistaken.the at the beg of the show says hes from ny (the city) out of town for a film festival.anyways this place was like"last year in business""will host parties , get togethers etc"for real cheap because it s so haunted.they are selling the place real cheap.its a multI million $ prop for like 1mil or even in the 100 thousands.anyways its the closet to the opening shot building they used.as soon as I saw it I was like."thats supposed resemble the bar and grill hotel in ny".so look it up if its still on the market or in haunted locations or whatever:)
