The host claims to have found the Sun Disc temple, finds that there's a secret chamber underground and then leaves because he doesn't have an excavation permit. LOL If he really believed the Sun Disc was there he would've dug it up. I'm pretty sure the amount of fame and money you would get for finding something like that would take care of any fines or jail time you got for digging without a permit.

shareI kinda love this show. But I watch it as almost pure fiction. That way, when he makes even remotely reasonable or plausible connections between things, you can be like, "Yeah! Awesome dude. That's amazing."
Viewed in this way it's not much different than watching something like Indiana Jones (even though that's infinitely better). You can just allow your suspension of disbelief to engage and enjoy the ride.
