Wilted Flowers.

The flowers wilted because they are "Tubuler" Flowers. The stems are hollow & the are somewhat pressurized by the carbon dioxide that the flower makes. When you cut them, the small amount of pressure is released, leaving the hollow stem to support the flower. If you have ever tried to make a bouquet out of these types of plants, you have to insert a wire or stick up the bottom of the stem to keep them upright.
Also did you notice that they only showed one of the two vases after they wilted. They never showed the one in the other room. My guess is that it was wilted also.
