They must think we're stupid...

I'm not saying ghosts or demons or whatever don't exist, because I have zero way of knowing for sure, but this show is just too much.

It's too scripted. It's like a haunted soap opera. Every episode has some amazing story where they find a 200 hundred year old love letter that the owner never found before that leads them to a key that just conveniently goes to the a hidden chest they found buried inside a concrete wall that contains some tragic object that holds all the spirits inside the house...

seriously?

COME ON! It's too much. They always find soooo much evidence. Like with the Ghosts behind bars episode where they catch a full apparition on camera! It's too crazy. And the way John talks about everything like they are for sure scientific facts is so annoying. He'll say something like "Mirrors are known to collect large amounts of energy and can keep spirits trapped inside them." Wha?? That's a little presumptuous. It's one thing to say there are beliefs that mirrors can be linked with paranormal events, but he just says it in this most over the top way.

Right now I'm watching an episode where they are using a ghost box (so dumb) and it keeps saying James over and over and over and Amy is like "THE LETTER! It's signed J!" and everyone gasps. Geez Louise.

I never hear anything when they do those stupid Ghost Box things or their EVP's. The only time I hear them is when they point them out and then enhance the audio LOL

The thing with mirrors I remember is having to cover them up so the spirits aren't confused about which way is out. Never heard of a spirit being trapped in a mirror...not saying it can't happen but it's not in my immediate knowledge that it does.

I always had the same feeling when the Storage War-riors find something rare and valuable in an otherwise boring storage locker. Oh well. Manufactured drama. And yet I still watch. I won't be a complete pig to say I watch simply to enjoy Jesslyn's uh, callipygian gifts, but if the camera catches it, I'm on it like dark energy on a haunted mirror.

John and his crew seem pretty down to earth to me. Not like that other show with the group led by some frat-house type guy...now HE seems to overdramatize everything way over the top.

You and your mom are hillbillies; this is a house of learned doctors.

Or in every episode, John says the line "I am pretty sure I know what this is, but I have to ask someone just to confirm." I love that part!

Reminder: The O.C. resets to its first episode on POP network April 1 @ 2 p.m. EST
