Something weird about the music i cant explain

My first language is not english so ill try to be clear as mch as l can

When i watch a movie music and soundtrack is important. Yet. It is supposed to be a discreet companion to put emphasis to what is happening.

In this movie each time a tune started it got me out of the movie completly, because its what it was, instead of having orchestral music composed for the movie or whatever it was hit tunes one after another that we hear on the radio all the time it felt weird.

Like i said i cant explained it better then that, anyone felt the same?
