why didn't
they get a vehicle to get away from the start, even the bus, granted most of the vehicles wouldnt have had keys in them.
A pretty good jeep or truck could have taken them through a few people even if they tried to stop them.
1) They didn't realize what had happened.
2) By the time they did, the place was being swarmed.
3) They were unarmed.
4) They were stupid, for not expecting a ZA. (I mean, really, who isn't trained for that?)
5) They'd be even further up a creek without a paddle going from a stocked hotel to a car they might or might not find with the keys.
