I heard her say something about looking for love from these people but didn't really understand what she was trying to accomplish; to get Eve to leave so she could take her place?

Interesting, I just watched it on TV and the version I saw contained subtitles of the conversation.
Eve: Why?
Jane: I'm undercover. Do you know what happens to terrorists these days?
Eve: I'm not a terroris...
Jane: Life in prison. I know Eve is not your real name.
Eve: No one uses their real name.
Jane: Jessica.
Eve: How do you know that name?
Jane: I know a lot about you. Don't throw everything away because these people have convinced you that no-one, no-one could love you but them.
Are these not present on the DVD/Blu-ray?

I was watching on Netflix in Canada and trying to read lips. There were no subtitles in the regular version, and I recall having rewound and enabling the Netflix subtitles, and there being none for that moment.
OT, this movie passes the Bechdel test with flying colours with this single scene, without even counting the conversations between Jane and her boss.

You're welcome. It seems that there's a number of versions that omit translations of both conversations between Eve and Jane, which is odd because they're integral to the storyline.
I have to admit that I'd never heard of the Bechdel test before. Interesting stuff, I can think of dozens of films made in recent years that would fail miserably. Thanks!
