The Black Pond Soundtrack

Hello,

I watched this last night and thought the music was a key part of why I enjoyed it. I didn't hold out much hope for a soundtrack CD but then googled and found that it's available to download for a very reasonable price from here:

In case anyone is hunting down the DVD, I bought that in Fopp in Manchester just before Christmas for £5 (I was curious about the film but not curious enough to spend £10 which was the cheapest price I'd seen it for online).

Hope these little bits of info help someone out there as it's definitely the sort of film that stays with you.

Being greedy, I'd like to have some of the poetry/dialogue bits (particularly the John Clare poem at the end) set to music (a bit like the Shallow Grave soundtrack which we still quote in our family) but I guess you can't have everything.

I don't think the film was perfect, and I can see that it's divided people but there were some very beautiful lines in there so I'm a bit baffled by the idea elsewhere that the script let it down (although perhaps I was content just to spend time listening to the dialogue rather than hoping for an intriguing twist at the end).
