A Superb and Sublime Work

This is an incredible well-made film and a moving tale of existential angst and absurdity. I put me in mind of Kafka or Camus. Just superb.
Now, I also loved 'My son, my son what have ye done' which was panned by critics, so my finger is certainly not on the pulse of the world today.
Even so, I loved this film and am looking forward to the maker's next project.

Good to see Langham back in form too.

Thank you!

I agree, I thought it was an excellent film, well made and beautifully acted, particularly Chris Langham. It is amazing what can be achieved on a budget of £25,000. Watch the directors short film Cockroach, it is available on Youtube.

You do know that Langham is a nonce. Tried and convicted.

Not saying that the nonce is a bad actor. On the contrary. Being a nonce probably makes him a very good actor. I'm just sick of so called talented people who commit such sick crimes are forgiven and then lauded.

The non-linear storytelling and the ennui had me hoping for something rather memorable in the end. But there were no surprises whatsoever. Nice ideas but that was about it. Couldn't see what the point was.

When the hazards lights on the car flash from the central locking while they are carrying Blake's body was the highlight.

I thought it was delightfully absurd. Simon Amstell's role as the 'psychiatrist' cracked me up.
