How much did ABC cut from Titanic?

I'm an American viewer watching it on ABC, and I was wondering how many minutes ABC cut out to fit into the time alotted? I'm wondering if I should take the time and watch it again in its full version (because I admit, I hate watching heavily abridged versions of stuff) and see if I get a fuller experience from it.

I like this program, and I hope I don't cry too much tonight lol. I think my one criticism is that there's too many characters; I think the story could be a little more powerful if perhaps they had a smaller cast of characters, but developed them to the hilt. I really like some characters (I'm rooting for Annie and Paulo! And I love the Batleys - Marie Doyle Kennedy is awesome.) but others I feel are underdeveloped to the point where I don't feel either way (except a sad pang of pity) if they live or die.

I'm quite surprised that ABC broadcast the same version that Global did!! If you'd like to watch the fuller version from the UK, go to tv-links.eu

If you have any problems, please message me! :)

Global and ABC often air the same programs. I think they maybe owned by a Sister Umbrella company much like Teen Nick/Much Music: Degrassi.

For example Bomb Girls is a Canadian Show which airs on Global Months prior to its showing on ABC, rookie blue is another example except they are aired at the same time.

Often you see the same line up of shows on ABC/Global

NBC/CTV but CTV also has amazing race and comidies from CBS. So my guess is global/abc have some sort of "understanding" agreement in place where as CTV must have no such thing thus allowing them more freedom and choice. It also comes down to budgeting and the fact that the Canadian Government says X % of Canadian made shows for X amount of funding. Which is why channels like the CBC have no international programs.

I guess its sort of obvious for me because I have a cable package that features a channel TV guide that scrolls through in a down direction going from 2-60 and all the big channels are 2-CBS 3-Fox 4-ABC 5-Global 6-NBC 9-CTV so I can see which Canadian/American channels are airing the exact same programs back to back. Lol.
