If you dig the surreal japanese comedy, this movie is pretty good. I think the 6.3 rating that it has right now is way too low. It's a 7 in my book. Unpretentious, entertaining, funny in its own weird way. See it open-minded and you will enjoy yourself!
VIVA LA VINYL
The first 45 minutes of this is the funniest thing I have seen for a long time. The second half dragged a bit but .... And they have made a sequel... He is summoned to make a bath for the gladiators... and he goes back to Japan and into a Sumo bath. With they had a DVD of this..... keep looking....

I agree with the other poster that the second half dragged by trying to give the film some meaning.
Sure it's inevitable but the five elders squabbling around wasn't that funny.
Still it's a solid 7 for me too.
