Ruth Negga
She's Irish. That's one reason for me to want to see it. When is it being released here. Always good to see the Irish doing well on the international stage

African American? haha. I think she would have to be American for that to make sense. She's Ethiopian born, Irish raised, and of Ethiopian and Irish parentage. So I guess you could say she's African Irish?
I hope you like feminist rants because that's kind of my thing.
She gave a very good performance in this movie. She stands out.
shareNegga please....

"Can a Negga get a table dance?"
Sorry.
I truly enjoyed this film, and I was blown away by her range and looks. Such soulful eyes. It shows that you don't need $100 (or $200) million dollars to make an entertaining and engaging picture. Yes this means you "John Carter."
Further research shows she was nominated for a 2004 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Most Promising Newcomer.
I hope to see her do more.
"Gentlemen! You can't fight in here, this is the War Room!"
Is she single by any chance?
My Voting history is secret;)
She's with Dominic Cooper.
I hope you like feminist rants because that's kind of my thing.
She is lovely. And it's clear she is of mixed racial heritage. Enough with half of you idiots saying she is African-American, she is not American at all. And the other half of you idiots saying she is not Irish (or denying that she can't be Irish because she is not Caucasian). She is Irish because of where she is from. More specifically she is African-Irish because of who she is. And like other African-Irish women: Laura Izibor and Samantha Mumba, to name the only two I can think of, she is quite attractive.
She is a good actress.
