Very Good

Great program and very pleasant to watch.

Pretty funny in places and nice to see something new on TV.

Trailers do not do it justice as it's much better then what they show.

I agree. I love it. Hope it gets another series.

I also like this show. But what really strikes me is how the one who talks with a Lancashire accent sounds so much like Bubble from Ab Fab, even so in character.

According to UK magazine show This Morning there will be a 2nd series of Mount Pleasant.

I saw Sally Lindsay and Daniel Ryan being interviewed. Unfortunately for me it'll be shown on Sky Living, but I'm sure you who've posted will be able to see it. I guess I'll wait till they release a DVD of Series 1 and Series 2.

Hooray. Just seen Mount Pleasant is available on DVD. Well Series One at least. Please note it's available from 3rd September 2012. But you can pre-order it.

Only watched the first episode of Series One, but I've enjoyed it so far. One reviewer referred to it as the 'soap opera of sitcoms'. I agree in the sense that I'm not sure how to categorize it.

At this point, very early in my watching game, the first impression I get is a genre like "A Bit of a Do", not a comedy, nor a drama, but maybe a 'soap punctuated with humor'?. I enjoyed "A Bit of a Do", so I expect I'll continue to enjoy Mount Pleasant, as well.
