The Boyfriend of the Executive Lady Grail Seeker.

Why is Alice Tanner in any way attracted to the Boyfriend of the Executive Lady Grail Seeker (ELGS).

She finds him lounging around the ELGS' rich home. He's a gigolo or something. Obviously, they're getting it on, because she's so intimate in that scene where she arrives and surprises him.

But, uh, for some reason, we and Alice Tanner supposed to think, Oh, he's a clean-cut guy, maybe he should be getting with Alice Tanner, instead?

Why would he instantly be in league with Tanner and betray the ELGS?

Look, the movie itself sucked and had (mostly) horrible acting, horrible plot, horrible production values.

But this particular plot point was just insulting. She'd be disgusted by this guy: he's a gigolo; he's at the house of this totally evil woman.

Well,to be honest, the whole film was a rather shallow and trivial one
that climaxed in an uneccessary slaughter followed by an unbelievable "happy
ending". WTF was that all about ?? The holy grail was left in the cave
up for grabs while the heroine choose a dick instead. WOW. Could it get
more retarded than that after x ppl had to violently die for it ?
It totaly makes no sense at all and i as the viewer was left only with a
repressed hedonistic message: If you have to choose between something magic
and important on an epic scale and a cock of fortune choose the latter, because
humping makes you free. And even this choice was by no means a necessary one.
Everybody with an IQ about zero would have choosen a very prolonged live with
ultraslow aging first AND THAN the dick,if there is the urge for it,right ?
Yeah,it all makes no sense to me too. Not at all.

The modern time romance really was insulting, and these two characters were dull and uninteresting. The relationship lacked any credibility at all, and seemed as if it was written by a 16 year old girl. The whole movie was weak, and the ending was terrible. Mostly a waste of time. But on the plus side, the music was beautiful if not original, and they had John Hurt.

i agree with everything written. i watched this to check out sebastian stan's acting, he looked bored, no doubt because the series itself was utterly tedious. the romance between him and the heroine had no chemistry or credibility. just terrible.

Maybe he's a spy.
