A tribute to Advanced Dungeons + Dragons and late Gary Gygax

Wow, I liked DRAGON AGE mostly because I liked Felicia Day's flirtatious, happy, sexy, and happy elvish fighter assassin character, Tallis. In fact Tallis is more than flirtatious, she's a little man-hungry, especially for the templar knight, ha, ha, ha.
I'm biased in favor this tv series because TALLIS closely resembles my own favorite Advanced Dungeons & Dragons character, a beautiful half-elf/half human magic-user/fighter that I named, 'Alana', back in my youthful college days. By the culture of the Dungeons & Dragons universe, the female assassin fighter, Tallis, and my own, make-believe, elf/human Alana should have been dour, uncomfortable with their racial backgrounds. I add Tallis, because that elven character would not normally be happily traveling with human company. But DRAGON AGE and I both bucked the D & D universe stereotype and made the female elf and my own fictitious elf/human, happy, flirtatious, somewhat sex-hungry, humorous, but still deadly fighters.

Felicia Day, if you're reading this, you made my Advanced Dungeons & Dragons favorite character come true on film.

Certainly a far better tribute to Gary and D&D than the $45 million 'D&D The Movie', where the best they could manage was a tiny cameo of Gary, at the back, under loads of makeup, where you'd only know it's him if you watch the Special Features - Even then, they have to freeze-frame and use a big red arrow to show which one of the blurry background extras was The God Of All Things D&D to whom they're supposedly paying tribute...
