Did that have anything to do with the marines being there and/or him being on film? He was a crazy little bastard.

Yeah, the kid was seen as a traitor to associate with the "infidels". Shows how barbaric they truly are.

like haynese_98 said, he was just said too much against the Taliban. It's one thing to tell the Americans that they don't like them or don't agree with them, and I'm sure that the Taliban expect this and even tolerate it, as they know they people must say this to the Americans, but to say the things this little guy was saying is going too far. He was almost violently defiant in his opposition to them. Perhaps he thought he was putting on a good show or something, but he should have known better.
