There was a fair amount of buzz surrounding the production of this title a few years ago. If I remember correctly, there was even an IMDB page back then. The page was closed, and I kinda assumed that it had run into trouble, financial or otherwise, in mid production.
I'm glad to see that it's in the post produtcion phase now. I kinda enjoyed Hooper re-envisioning of the 70's sleaze classic.

It should have been kept dead. I just saw it and it's pretty bad. Bad storytelling. A lot of gore which is always fun but acting, storyline etc were utter crap.
shareAgreed. Should have burned and buried this movie. It's nothing like the first one, it's not even really a sequel. it's terrible. The script is awful. Why they didn't do a regular sequel to the first one is beyond me. What a waste.
