Coffin Baby not Officially released yet
I have very good reason to believe that the "Official" Coffin Baby movie has not been released yet. I don't know how so many people are viewing this movie, in any full and legal experience.

I totally agree with this.
There's no way that the legitimate final cut of the film has been released.
If anything,people have been watching a bootleg unfinished version of it.
The film has been released in Germany currently, and is heading towards a Summer release domestically. The version leaked, is unfinished, with tons of scenes missing, as well as visual fx, ADR, sound problems, etc. So a review on that version is basically irrelevant to the actual final cut.
share Thanks krazyactor, Viewing the leaked version of Coffin Baby is definitely irrelevant to the actual final cut. I thought Coffin Baby would be domestically released this summer and was thrown off by some of these posts. It's great to know that the film has been released in Germany though!

Yeah, I was trying to think my way through that myself. 20 minutes or so of added scenes might give it a plot. A complete reshoot might fix the acting (Dern's scenes excepted. He's fine). I can not see what changes could salvage it, and I'll be damned before I'd ever watch it again to find out.
