LOTS of Helen Hunt full frontal nudity!

It's a shame this film wasn't made in 1986 :(

reply

Helen Hunt being nude created an aristocratic film, which is the primary reason critics and award voters support the film. A 50 year old Hunt embracing her sexuality and baring all is supposed to be dignified and noble.

Take away the nudity and I guarantee the film's acclaim drops at least 15%.

reply

It's a shame you can't appreciate the true beauty of a 50 year old woman.

Maybe you're the type who will be 55 years old and still trying to 'buy' 25 year old beauty queens.

reply

Yah, well I think she did topless in The Waterdance (1992).

Comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable

And not a hint of a penis, or even an ass, from the male character. Double standard much?

Now you know how men feel when TONS of films show penis without a hint of vagina. Where is the call of double standard there?

reply

Other than gay porn, can you even give me ONE example of a mainstream movie where that happens??

reply

Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Walk Hard:Dewey Cox Story
American Reunion
Borat
Bruno
Hall Pass
The Dictator
Eurotrip
Any Given Sunday
Hit and Run
The Piano
Django Unchained
Observe and Report
Hangover
Hangover 2
Hangover 3
Sex and the City
American History X
Zack and Miri
Jackass 3D
Wanderlust
We're The Millers

This is just a small sample. There is also the movie "Neighbors" which opens next week which has penis in it without even a hint of vagina.

Some of these films, like Hall Pass and Bruno, show completely shaved, erect penises, in close-up for SEVERAL seconds.

Please list for us the mainstream movies you've seen where vaginas are shown like that and then we can determine what the real double standard is, or will you cower in fear like every other vagiphobe by refusing to respond? Where did you say the double standard is again?

reply

You are deluded if you think that these flashes of penis even come close to the amount of T&A that women show on screen. This is 1/10 of 1% of what's shown of women's biology vs. men's. And you are some kind of prude to think that showing a hint of penis without showing an equal amount of vagina is somehow wrong.

reply

T&A is not equal to penis. A penis is a sex organ, so the only equal would be the vagina, so calling for vagina exposure is no different than you calling for penis exposure, which is what you did on your previous post. So I guess that would make you the prude since you can't handle seeing a vagina, even though you want penises to be shown. Like I said, vagiphobe (someone who fears vagina).

Besides, I also see more male T&A than female in films and TV shows. Compare equal body parts and you'll see more male exposure than female.

reply

OMG. I'm not a vaginaphobe. But you sure do seem obsessed with penises. Which indicates to me that you have issues. Serious issues.

reply

Resort is had to ridicule only when reason is against us.

reply

Uh, did you suffer memory loss? You were the one that called for penises, and claimed "double standard" when describing this movie. Yet more movies show penises than vaginas, so where is the call of "double standard" there?

You also claim not to be a vagiphobe, yet refuse to admit the double standard against men, and compared a woman's T&A to a man's penis. Did you fail sex education when we were taught boys have a penis, girls have a vagina? Or are you so vagiphobic that you have to find substitute body parts so that vaginas don't have to be shown because you can't handle that body part being exposed?

What is with this vagiphobia in modern society? I think we are living in the year 2014, not 1950's anymore - vagina exposure should not frighten anyone anymore. What's your excuse?

reply

Giverny is a vagiphobe big time!!! As far as penises go, watch Spartacus on starz once, you'll gave your fill of penises

reply

This list is incredibly flawed, and in no way comes close to equalling the amount of female nudity in cinema.

reply

only because the definition of "nudity" is unequal to begin with. Topless female = nudity, topless male = not nudity. If we applied the same definition of nudity to men as we do women you'll find male nudity in almost every movie. Even in disney movies guys take their shirts off for sex appeal, think of the outrage if women did that.

Not until we define nudity of the male and female body equally will we ever hope to have equal depiction of the sexes in the media...

reply

Very true.

reply

You do get to see a lot of Helen in the movie.

Its that man again!!

reply

And she was Beautiful with a capital B! :P. And nothing but respect for taking this beautiful role in this beautiful movie.

reply

why in 1986?
Helen Hunt was looking AMAZING in the movie and her body is AMAZING too... !!!

i went to see INCEPTION 5 times... !!!

reply

Because she was gorgeous in 1986!

Helen's nudity in The Sessions was ruined by the fact that her face resembles Skeletor.

reply

she was gorgeous too in 2000 when she made what women want...
and her face was not that bad in the sessions, anyway i think many people forgot how her face looks when ehey saw her AMAZING body in this movie, right?

i went to see INCEPTION 5 times... !!!

reply

I give the movie high marks for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is seeing Helen Hunt's remarkable 50ish body. My only wish is that the movie would have been made in 1973 or 1974!!!
