One of the best films I have seen all decade

Brilliant acting, well handled and sensitive, and intelligent.

My only downside was that I would like to have seen a little more about how he coped initially with his break up with Helen Hunt, and how his new romance with hosp volunteer developed.

Overall fantastic, shame Oscar peeps cant see past special effects and idiots jumping around all over the place

I simply don't understand how John Hawkes didn't get nominated for an academy award.

This is my #8 movie of 2012 (no lower than Top 12-ish of the year if i was being a bit conservative). My Top 8 movies of 2012 are...

1.Skyfall - 8-8.5/10
2.Django Unchained - 7.5-8/10
3.Lawless
4.The Grey - 7-7.5/10
5.Flight
6.End of Watch
-.Robot & Frank
8.The Sessions - 7/10

but with that said, the only movies i gave a 'solid 8/10' or higher in the current decade would be the following (which is my Top 10 movies of the current decade)...

1.Edge of Darkness (2010) - 9/10
2.Source Code (2011) - 8-8.5/10
3.Skyfall (2012)
4.The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) - 8/10
-.Kick-Ass (2010)
-.True Grit (2010)
-.The American (2010)
-.The Descendants (2011)
-.The Town (2010)
-.Kill The Irishman (2011)

p.s. i have seen at least 380+ movies released in the 2010 to date time frame.

It was a beautiful film and proves more than any film in recent memory that the "Oscars" in recent years are pretty much p.r. BS by the snubs this film received while some highly mediocre films and performances have won in the past decade.
