Why is Grenda so butch?
I haven't seen all episodes, so I wonder if it's ever explained?
shareI don't know, looking for the term "butch" it seems to mean transformation of traditional gender roles, which doesn't apply to the case of Grenda at all.
If you mean her voice (which was addressed in her introduction episode: "I used to sing like that before my voice changed") and her muscles, then I guess it's a matter of genetics. Girls with deep voices and strong complexion exist after all.

Yeah, I meant her voice. She is voiced by a man in the Danish dubbing.
Just think it's odd to have her sound like a guy 😀
