Hi. I really love Gravity Falls, and before IMDB shuts down, can anyone please recommend similar shows?
Also, is there anywhere to go to discuss cartoons on the internet when the message boards get killed? So long friends and thanks for all the fish!

shareI just remembered, in other threads like this, the show Eerie, Indiana was mentioned a couple of times. But I have never seen it.
Might also want to check out Twin Peaks. I have never seen it, but the creator, Alex Hirsch, has described Gravity Falls as "Twin Peaks meets the Simpsons". (I should watch Twin Peaks someday. I understand that Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated has references to it as well.)
Also the X-Files. Gravity Falls is kind of like a kid friendly version of that show.
If you want more of the crazy dark/disturbing humor that the show had, you might like Invader Zim. This show is what I imagine a Bill Cipher Show would be like.
Oh yah, Alex Hirsch is one of the writers for the Detective Pikachu movie coming out in a couple of years. He's also working on a show for FOX so keep an eye out for that, too.
