And the significance of Saoirse's clothes?? Gramma didn't like them and put her in a dress and bow. Then at the end when she changes from Selkie to human, she returns to the clothes she had on prior to Gramma changing her on her birthday. It seemed very significant to me. Lovely analysis. It has me wanting to rewatch. :)

Good job! Just what I was looking for.
I got many of those, but now I'm more content.
Thanks!

I just wish the artwork hadnt been so abysmal. The story was great The actual animation, as in movement, was lovely. The drawings themselves - I have honestly seen better in average school projects. The artist, whoever he was, should have been sacked about 5 minutes after he got hired and someone brought in who could actually DRAW people! Everyone looked like childrens drawings held together by paper fasteners and wobbled on strings or lengths of cotton. All the lovely smooth animation was wrecked by these awful drawings. Such a shame.

Id give this thing a 5 just because the story itself was so good. On artwork, as opposed to animation, Id give it a 3 at best. Sad.

why do you copypaste this comment into nearly evey thread on here? Troll much?

As a desginer, I thought the artwork was absolutely amazing. There is so much going on behind the seeming simplicity, joy to watch and take notice.

The art work was AMAZING!!! I don't understand you? The characters were simplistically drawn, but that's what they were meant to look like. The backgrounds were each like a work of art on their own.
It wasn't supposed to look super realistic like some new animations.
