Does Disney seriously think..

..that kids wouldn't be able to comprehend the stories if they had intertwined them? It was so choppy how they showed the one story, then the second, and then the third..so weird!

It's better to be hated for who you are, than to be loved for who you're not.

I'm watching yet another re-airing now, so this is why I am responding to such an old post and dead board:

I have a theory this movie was originally intended to be a series, or at least, a few pilot episodes for a new series and when those plans fell through they just threw them together into the movie we have today.

I would not normally think this, but as others have said, the abruptness and the way the movie is split into three stand-alone stories (acts) is why I have a feeling this was meant to be a new series vs. a cohesive flowing movie...

Apparently the movie was based on a book, but other than the title and the name of Z&B characters it doesn't resemble the story in anything at all, so the other two stories must have been madeto fill out the running time.
