ughh ..Bad Kids Go To Hell Rip Off!

srsly..like whats with all of these Detention movies coming out this year that has the same plot storyline such as a bunch of teens getting offed off in a library during Detention or a horde of students turning into Zombies??? first i hear Joseph Kahns Detention and now im hearing about this?? wow..if any of you guys have read Bad Kids Go To Hell you'll know with me that the smart plot and simple premise in that story makes all of these wannabe films just look stupid in comparison!
Like why do people even bother making these films if youre not going to make it look at least smart, and fresh! and before anyone says that "Bad Kids" isnt original and crap the Graphic Novel and soon to be movie stand on its own (cuz the creators first came up with Bad Kids in 2007 !)
I bet these guys who made Detention etc.. are beating their heads into a pulp cuz they couldnt think up of an idea to cast Judd Nelson as a Headmaster!

I haven't seen "Bad Kids" yet but i plan to so I'm not knocking the movie but from what i have read its far from original. Horror movies set in high schools that I have seen date back to the early 1970's... what makes this one so different?

^Seriously, you could say that about any genre of film. Every concept has been done to death. Nothing is truly original anymore because every type of storyline has been done before.

It true pretty much everything has been done before but that doesn't mean that things cant be combined in different ways. For example the end of the world story line is something that is way overdone but if you look at Steven Kings "The Stand" it is unique in its complexity and tone. My point was this person felt that this film was superior and I wanted to know why...

Definite contender for the dumbest comparison ever. Bad Kids is about a haunting in the school, Detention is about a zombie outbreak. If your going to use such childish comparisons then you could compare it to the Breakfast Club because they are both about kids in detention. But hey why stop there? I think this is a blatant rip off of the Sixth Sense!!!! Because erm....they both have humans in them. There are similarities between most movies, don't compare them just take them for face value...........except The Asylum movies, for obvious reasons. Atlantic Rim people, really? pmsl

Nobody is ripping off a mediocre film like "Bad Kids Go To Hell", first off. Second, there is always a steady stream of HS movies, and they often include detention.

BAD KIDS GO TOO HELL is not a zombie movie. not even slightly.

I doubt you have read the comic or or seen either film.

bad kids go to was not good so maybe thats what you mean but what ever.

this isn't a great film but if you are expecting a oscar caliber film your aiming way too high.
