Fast forward movie means I'll watch the whole movie in about 10 minutes, this was really bad, a zombies movie that tries too hard to be a comedy that fails miserably.
The acting is ... well, what acting? there was no acting.
I like zombie movies and comedy-horror movies like shaun of dead, tucker&dale, etc. this was more like an adam sandler zombie teen movie, farting, screaming, idiotic jokes, please...
I had to stop watching. Usually I can sit through some terrible movies but this one was highly annoying as well. That Asain kid was the absolute worst.
shareI think that some of the criticism that DOTD is receiving is slightly unfair. Sure it's no Sean of the Dead and less of a parody and more of a self aware look at the teen focused movie scene. With zombies. And though it isn't quite successful it's not as bad as either of the those above make out. There is a lot a worse out there, especially starring Adam Sandler.
I feel for the budget and a first time attempt in the genre it deserves some credit for a valiant though flawed attempt.

shareNot a great movie, but I watched it twice. It has a few moments of flashback quality for me. Breakfast Club with zombies and that sort of thing. I don't recommend it, but if you like zombie movies its worth a watch just because its out there.

This wasn't that bad. I disagree completely with the "fast forward" theory. There were a lot of really good tongue in cheek lines, and the "Breakfast club" references were cute. Much better than most zombie movies out there.
